Landing and sharing great testimonials are a powerful way to help your clients confidently decide that you are the guide for them. The problem is that most testimonials miss the mark by focusing too much on the brand.
They often sound like:
“John is amazing at…”
“Julie did a great job of…”
“I would highly recommend Susan for …”
Research shows that most customers skip over reading testimonials like this on a webpage.
Here is a list of questions you can ask to get testimonials that will grow your business:
- Describe what was happening before you decided to take these healing sessions/this program.
- What did you hope to achieve?
- What had you tried before?
- What was getting in the way of achieving your goal and how did this make you feel?
- What was at risk if you weren’t able to achieve this goal?
- Tell me about the results you achieved.
- How is your life different?
These questions help uncover your client’s story. You can easily ask these questions in a phone interview or through a survey.
